The Biden running mate sweepstakes

Looks like Tammy Duckworth is now receiving very serious consideration:

Val Demmings has too much baggage; she won't get the nod:

I believe Sovereign is selling all of its stations in the central U.P. Per Northpine.com: http://www.northpine.com/blog/2020/07/08/two-marquette-radio-stations-change-format-ahead-of-sale/ Per Insideradio.com: http://www.insideradio.com/free/amc-bolsters-michigan-holdings-with-8-station-sovereign-de...

Same can be said of Detroit Metro Airport for folks who live in northern and central Macomb County, St. Clair Shores, Roseville, Rochester Hills, Waterford, etc.

Re: Palace explodes

The Palace was built and renovated with 100% private financing. As to the investors, the Davidsons made their money back and then some. And Gores has a sweetheart deal on the reuse of that land. The investors are doing just fine, thanks. Karen or whomever sold the team, the Palace and related asset...

Re: Format change in Marquette...

Looks they are right, as the (now former) 93Rock / 94Rock Facebook page has been disabled! It was online as recently as two days ago - and it did mention that listeners to 94.1 in Marquette should switch to 99.5. The move makes sense, as 93.1's audience has likely been splintered by 107.3, 99.1, and...

Re: Guns, guns, GUNS!!!

Seems like a few of you are filling in unknown or missing details or jumping to hypothetical conclusions to make the white woman look good.

I cannot help but wonder if the same would be true if the rolls were reversed.

I agree with what Audiophile and LL101 wrote.

Re: Palace explodes

True, UP906, but one that should still be here! It was still in almost immaculate condition when it closed for good. The Silverdome, Tiger Stadium and JLA were all dumps. Palace Sports & Entertainment was mismanaged after Tom Wilson left. Bill Davidson has GOT to be rolling in his grave today. He ne...

Re: Whitler says might have to "dial back"

By the way, "fines" from the government are hardly the only enforcement mechanism available to promote immunization. Aside from higher health insurance premiums, schools can be permitted to deny entry to students who lack proper immunization, and employers can mandate vaccinations for employees as a...

Re: Whitler says might have to "dial back"

If they are not sick there is NO WAY for them to get anyone else sick. According to our latest tests, about 97% of the population is NOT sick with the virus. Why penalize folks when they're REALLY not doing anyone else any harm??? You know what I meant when I said "otherwise healthy." Don't be a tr...

My "Cliff's Notes" from The Room Where It Happened (John Bolton's book)

I've read the first two chapters so far. Takeaways: - Even Trump and his campaign handlers thought they were going to lose on Election Night, and thus were not prepared to take the reins of the federal government, which led to a chaotic transition team assemblage, with campaign staffers trying to un...

Re: Yup. China Developed COVID-19 In A Lab-Gordon Chang

Totalitarian regimes with a history of human rights violations can never be trusted. For that reason alone, I certainly think there is a possibility that COVID-19 was developed in a lab and released either intentionally or unintentionally.

Re: Michigan auto insurance reform - rate change sneak peek

If you are an existing Progressive policy holder whose policy auto-renewed prior to July 2, you will probably need to call their toll free number and speak with a customer service representative.

Hopefully, they won't give you the "run around."
