Re: Republican Primaries Nixed in Several States!

SG - still waiting for you to respond with which of the 50 states you think anybody other than Trump has even a remote chance of winning a primary. The first 2 national polls were released today: Trump +86 (Economist) Trump +84 (Fox News) Trump is at 89 and 86 respectively in these polls with the hi...

Re: Kavanaugh

Why do I get the feeling that had SG been born in the 1600s that he/she would be one of the people calling for the hanging of alleged witches in Salem?

Re: Republican Primaries Nixed in Several States!

SG - let's be realistic here. Have you seen polling from the New Hampshire republican primaries? Per the Boston Herald: -88 Trump -3 Weld -1 Walsh Spread - Trump +85 I challenge you to find me a state where anybody other than Trump has something even close to a snowball's chance in hell of beating T...

Re: Trump doesn't understand monetary policy - and it's frightening

He has lost trust on a scale we’ve not seen before - with both the American people and the world - friends and foes alike. (emphasis added). That is factually incorrect. He has the most stable approval rating of any President in the history of polling. His rating has remained within an unbelievably...

Re: This is a perfect example of why mob rule is bad

Oops sorry about that - I overlooked yours or I would have posted this there. What bugs me most about this is that once again, nobody on the left will admit that they jumped the gun or that they were wrong. This story will simply just "disappear." On one side you have Trump who just doubles down on ...

This is a perfect example of why mob rule is bad

Just in the past 48 hours: First, from a New York Times article posted Saturday: We also uncovered a previously unreported story about Mr. Kavanaugh in his freshman year that echoes Ms. Ramirez’s allegation. A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm pa...

Re: Trump doesn't understand monetary policy - and it's frightening

As to the article you posted MW - I never said I agree with cutting interest rates into negative territory. I think they're fine right where they're at, though I would have no issue with cutting them a quarter or half a point. My only point about the trade deficit as it pertains to economic growth i...

...Negative interest rates, in theory, spur exports...my guess is that Trump views this as a way to fight China devaluing their currency.
It is almost like I can read his mind. This, just 2 hours ago:

Re: Trump doesn't understand monetary policy - and it's frightening

Completely absent from any of those articles, and at least worthy of note, is the impact of negative interest rates on the trade deficit, which is approaching $1 trillion per year and makes the GDP roughly 4-5 percent LOWER than it would be if our deficit was neutral. Negative interest rates, in the...

Re: Only the Lions

They looked much better this week. I thought they were a little too conservative running the ball so much but in the end, they made key plays when they needed them. Also kudos to throwing on 3rd down late to get the first down and seal the deal.

Suddenly that tie looks ok in the standings.

Speaking of waiting, I'm waiting for your medical opinion of Joe Biden's mental health. You seem to be an expert on mental health. Does he have all his marbles? Interesting, though not surprising, you chose not to respond to that thread.

Re: Your best ever car radio?

Wow! That one looks great just by itself! In my opinion, that's a great way of using MDs. I've never seen such a setup to actually RECORD radio in the car Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk I actually still own it - I converted it into a stand-alone home stereo powered by a 12v source. I don't cu...

Re: Your best ever car radio?

My current radio is a Blaupunkt MP-76. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41MjoKWMIrL.jpg AM unfortunately has narrow frequency response, but the FM - it has a "twinceiver" receiver with 2 separate antenna inputs and thus diversity reception (there are actually 2 separate fm tuners bui...
