Re: Whitmer Misses The Mark

Not even close to enforceable. But the mere fact that this even exists in writing is absolutely ludacris.

btw - simple legal loophole: Go from Residence #1 to the grocery store, then from the Grocery store to Residence #2. That way you're not travelling "between 2 residences"

Re: Whitmer Misses The Mark

I just got to thinking - computer models are still showing a possible major snowstorm hitting some part of the northern half of the state. If that storm hits, and you have a second home or a cabin in that area, you can't even legally go check up on your own property.

Re: Whitmer Misses The Mark

Where do you see anything about not being able to travel between residences? Straight from the order itself: Individuals may also travel: To return to a home or place of residence from outside this state. To leave this state for a home or residence elsewhere. Between two residences in this state, t...

Re: Whitmer Misses The Mark

As I said before - most experts agree (and you don't hear this reported much) that the number of actual cases is likely 9x-12x higher than the reported cases. Why does this not get reported? Because it means the mortality rate is probably closer to 0.2 to 0.5% than it is to 2-3%. For reference, the ...

Re: Whitmer Misses The Mark

I'm not watching her conference. Has she yet incorrectly stated that our cases are still increasing every day as opposed to decreasing? What evidence is there of a decrease here in Michigan? Both yesterday's and today's numbers are the lowest since the last day of March. Sure looks like we're on th...

Re: Coronavirus and media bias

I'm not suggesting it isn't a common word, but there are so many different words or phrases you could use, and they all choose the same exact one. Either collusion or plagiarism. Take your pick

Coronavirus and media bias

2 examples today. First - collusion? Am I supposed to believe that 3 different media outlets all independently came up with the word "backfire" ? http://breakingnewsfeeds.com/media/sweden.jpg The second example - perhaps a bit more subtle, but a perfect example of the phrase "there's lies, damned li...

Re: Trump Coronavirus Polling

When the history is written, Trump's impeachment will be just a minor footnote. The real story will be how he handled this crisis. Seems the people very much approve. That's actually a good point. Little did Lester know that his asterisk that he so flippantly uses every time he types out Trump's na...

Hope you kept the shovel handy...
If we get so much as 3 inches, I'm gonna be bloody pissed.

Why can't we seem to get a seasonally warm April here in Michigan? It seems like over the past 10 years or so, most Aprils have been WELL below average in terms of temperature.

Re: Trump. Pence. Pelosi. Then Who?

Why do I get the feeling that Screen Glare is rooting and hoping for Trump to get the virus and die? It would probably save many American lives in the long run if this incompetent fool was not calling the shots for this crisis. Still waiting for your answer on whether Mayor DeBlasio has blood on hi...

This is rhetorical, yes?
If Trump died while in office, SG would be quietly (or maybe loudly for all I know) celebrating. I'm fairly confident that this is a fact.
