Re: Detroit Lions 2023

Thanks. So what that all means is if Detroit ties with either or both of those two teams, then Detroit loses the NFC North. It would be classic SOL for Detroit to lose to Minnesota, finish tied with either Minnesota, Green Bay, or both, lose the division crown, and then lose its wild card game. Gre...

Re: CRT and Plasma vs LCD tv's/monitors

I assume you specifically mean OLED?

I haven't seen an OLED in-person, but on paper they do look like a large improvement over regular LED.

CRT and Plasma vs LCD tv's/monitors

Anybody out there still own a plasma or even older, CRT television? I visited my sister this weekend and watched the Lions game on her new 75-inch tv. And as nice as it was to watch it on such a big screen, I still personally find the image quality to be significantly better on my 37" Plasma TV and ...

Re: Detroit Lions 2023

Question: if the Vikings, Packers and Lions all wind up finishing the regular season with the same W-L record, and if the Lions finish 1-1 against Minnesota and 1-1 against Green Bay, who will be recognized as the NFC North champion? Here are the various scenarios: Detroit, Minnesota, and Green Bay...

How is it possible that half this country hears a man shitting on the US Constitution constantly, and approves?
Biden's approval rating is not over 50.

Re: It's happened yet again (another mass shooting at a large university)

Where exactly are the Magats here? None of you Republicans are willing to claim this idiot as your own. The shooter was a college professor. We know how many of them are Trump supporters. Remember, TC also thought this looked like a Trump supporter: Slightly out of view to the left is the Trump law...

Re: Detroit Pistons 2023-24

So the Pistons already hold the NBA record for most consecutive playoff losses at 14. Now they're quickly climbing the ranks in competition for the longest ever regular season losing streak. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Basketball_Association_longest_losing_streaks#:~:text=Streaks%...

Re: It's happened yet again (another mass shooting at a large university)

What's the good in his second term plans? Here's the things I support or am at least open to: In a bid to secure the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump says he will move thousands of troops currently stationed overseas and shift federal agents, including those at the Drug Enforcement Administration and FBI,...

Re: It's happened yet again (another mass shooting at a large university)

You skipped over the important part to incorrectly attempt to correct me. Are you part of the true believer 36% or the incremental 11% who are willing to put a wannabe dictator back in the Oval? When you vote for Trump, you get the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's a package deal. And that's all I'...

Or, do as BMW apparently supports:
Not sure how you conclude "apparent support" from me citing poll numbers, but whatever.

My position on federal funding of education is that the federal government should not be involved in education, PERIOD.

Re: Detroit Lions 2023

GB v. KC - that's the worst officiating I've seen in an NFL game since Seattle's win in the last game of the season last year. That was brutal.
