Donielle Flynn is hosting the CSX midday shift today. Don't know if she's been given the full-time shift permanently. Best of Luck to her!

Did "Smokey Rivers" and "Dusty Rhodes" come from the same polluted town? These air-names are TOO fake!

Re: The Breeze is headed for the holidays

Much better for 98.7 to flip than 104.3...but I predict that 100.3 will still place #1 in the Holiday Nielsen Book, with a 12.0 share or better. :-(

Should have hacked the Billboard closer to Big Beaver Rd. (also known as Exit 69)! :lol

Re: WJR hits another all-time low and takes a big plunge from last month's already terrible numbers!

I just don't understand how CSX continues to dominate the market...The ONLY feature on their station that interests me at all is "Triple-Shot Thursdays!" Very average DJs, limited playlist, no jingles... boring to listen to. They must be "buying" their listeners with contests and give-aways?

That article is from the Fall of 2018, many months before the arrival of 106.7 Detroit's Wheels. Boring CSX will be going down in the next several months!

Re: Neilsen Ratings Question

Yes, this has been true for many years now. You have to "pay to play!" There are some stations, like WHMI in Howell/Livingston County, who make a considerable profit, without paying to subscribe to either the Detroit Metro or Lansing Nielsens.

Re: 93.9 station "skip".

On my way to work from South Lyon to Howell @ 3:30 pm yesterday, I experienced E-skip on 104.3 and 106.7...combination of the heat, humidity, and atmospheric conditions. On my way back home, after the cold-front passed thru, reception on these 2 stations was back to normal, with no fluctuation whats...

Has anyone seen a list of job cuts @ Entercom's Detroit cluster? Please post them, if you have. I see, on her Facebook page, that Kim Adams will now be hosting middays on The Breeze from 9am-3pm, instead of the previous starting time of 10am. Chadd & Kristi will be starting a half-hour earlier than ...

Re: Big changes in just released June ratings survey; WJR hits all-time record low

106.7 Detroit's Wheels is the BEST of the 3 rock stations...Much better variety of Classic Rock than CSX or Riff...Lesinski, if you want "non-stale" rock, 89X is your station. Wheels is going to have an especially good month in August, with substantial Dream Cruise promos and tie-ins, and a strong ...
