Marc is Drews crutch. Nothing more; nothing less. His contributions have always been lackluster at best even going back to the old days. A little Marc goes a long way. Drew has always been top notch. I truly believe he is one of the top radio talents of the past 50 years.

I notice when Deena is not on in the mornings as its easy to tell because the show suffers. But I like Deena. Even though I "like" Amy Andrews she doesnt really help "carry" her time.
Before I started switching at 11am I used to notice when the new guy was too lazy to put a tie on.

My main question is...WHY?
Why does the catalog have to be limited to 250 or 300 or 500 songs? Once you start getting into those secondary or third level songs isnt it basically "six of one and half a dozen of the other"? So why does it matter? Why not have the variety if the net result is the same?

Some rough quick math shows that there are approximately 6,400 spins per month; 9 songs per hour x 30 days.
It doesnt seem like too much of stretch to say that there are opportunities there to get some good, less played songs over the airwaves.

Yikes. That was kinda harsh. She's certainly not the natural beauty she was but I still find her attractive.

What I dont understand is this: For the most part its not like DJ's are putting a needle down on a record anymore, right? Isnt everything pretty much done by push of a button or mouse click now? The logical side of me understands why stations play the crap out of the "safe" songs.
The cynical side of me knows that there is 50 years of great music out there and tons of great songs, from all genres, that people would love to hear again.

Honestly, and I hate to say it, I didnt even notice.

Call me crazy but is it too much to ask for one of our rock stations to have us say "Wow! I havent heard this great song in forever!" consistently instead of "Fuck. This song again?".
