Re: CDC Director says Michigan should shut down again

The head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contradicted the Whitmer administration Monday, saying the answer to Michigan's "acute situation" with COVID-19 is not to surge vaccines but to shut down the state and "flatten the curve." "Really what we need to do in those situations is s...

Re: CDC Director says Michigan should shut down again

Take away six years of pay from these people and watch how they change about implementing a shut down. If the state shuts down, they are not affected. I’d say if another shutdown happens, demand for politicians paychecks for six years should happen so it can be given to small businesses. If the poli...

Re: Whitmer staffer on spring break!

So Did I hear correctly that Whitmers office commented this was nothing more than a “partisan attack”?

If that is true, then attacking restaurants and school sports is nothing more than a partisan attack by Whitmer.

So the doctors did not test lue for the covid strain. Seems odd in this type of climate with cases rising.

Re: A reminder on "gun control"

It’s amazing how shootings didn’t really occur in 2020 around this time. Costco was packed, Trader Joe’s packed, sams club packed so can’t say things were shutdown when everyone was at the same spot.

Not one real mass shooting occurred.

Re: Rollback on restrictions isn't working

Michigan now is the worst state for virus spread. It's time to put the restrictions back in place and get us back to where we were in February. But during that period, states also rolled back virus control measures, and now mobility data shows a rise in people socializing and traveling. Amid all th...

Re: HBO MAX & Apple Air Play & Roku

I was doing this as LG don’t have a HBOmax app. After sometime, it would time out and have to reconnect. I finally moved my Appletv to the living room to use the HBOmax app.

Roku does have the HBOMax app but need the OS version 9.3 or higher.

Re: Vaccine passports

This "passport" thing is absolute bullshit. There's no guarantee that someone who's been vaccinated can't get COVID and won't be a spreader. A smaller percentage most likely, but no guarantee at all. Funny you mention that. NBA coach has tested positive for covid19 while being vaccinated for a whil...

Re: Vaccine passports

A cotton cloth mask has been said by the CDC and W.H.O. That it stops the the virus from being spread. So really no one needs to get a vaccine/vaccine passport if they wear a cotton cloth mask. If the CDC and W.H.O. change saying a cotton cloth mask does not prevent the spread once the goals of vacc...

Re: Michigan has nation's 2nd highest surge in COVID

Personally felt that the age groups who should have gotten vaccines first are 10-18 and 18-45. It’s been said that these age groups are the most at risk for spreading. That should put at the top of the list since they are the most active and could help stop spreading covid19. No disrespected to the ...

Re: Insult Cops? Kentucky bill proposes 90 days in jail

Violation of free speech or is it a violation of hate speech?

I believe this bill falls into the hate speech category which punishes someone for committing a hate crime.

There is no well apples to oranges or well that’s different. Hate is hate!
