Ron was not aware that bill obrien took over the penn state program after joe paterno.He thought it was james franklin.Other than baseball ron has no sports credibility with me.I agree his nfl picks are boring.Ron needs to have a meltdown soon or he will lose me as a listener.

Ron must be a great salesman.I do not see how anyone would want to advertise on his show.I doubt that he has more than 100 listeners.

Momo I am 67 yrs old..Ron is the only sports talk show that talks about sports when i was a kid.I listen to his show for the nostalgia.

Has Ron ever been married?Does he have any family.Has he ever even had a girl friend.He seems like a lonely old man living alone in a motel hoping to relive his glory days .It seems really sad.The only thing he has going for him is his love of sports.That said I am a fan.I enjoy listening to his show.

To Louperry.Ron is a cult hero to many of us.We pledge loyalty to this god like broadcaster and astute businessman.

I heard that podcast.You most certainly could have done that show yourself.It sounded like Ron was threatned by you.

Ron is always saying he is so busy.What is he so busy with.His radio show is 4 hours a week.He does no prep work.He lives in his hotel so he has no yard work or up keep of a home.He does no cooking.He is a 75 year old man who most likely spends his time on the couch watching tv.

If Ron took the time to become tech savy and promote his show on social media he would attract listeners.He is definately different.I think listeners enjoy a train wreck but only in small doses.

I have started listening to his show because of this thread.I remember listening to him back in the 70s on wxyz radio.How does this guy make a living.I would like to ask Alex if he knows how much air time costs at Wpon.
