Still off the air...website says nothing (looks like it was created but has never been updated). I would hasten to guess this little experiment has failed.

Well, if memory serves correctly, the Black Bear (strip club) was very nearby the WTOM-TV studios back in the 60/70's... :blink

The old Black Bear is now known as 'Thirsty's'...and it is the very definition of a dive bar

Really, both outlets really don't do much in the way of what I would call real journalism or even news gathering. Aside from police scanner stuff (accidents and fires)you can ALWAYS count on a story about the county road crew guys every time it snows. Or 'winter driving tips' every time it snows. Or ...

Playing a very generic classic hits/yacht rock sort of thing. Had to crank the car radio WAY up to hear it (audio is very weak and tinny) Bill Gleich now listed as the licensee.
