Re: 1090 now Fox Sports
Comes in decently on the east side, but it is AM, so even the best AM is horrible. Not many vehicles have HD AM and there are maybe 2 portable HD AM radios being manufactured.

Looks like "WAKING UP WITH MORNING WOOD WITH JOEY, STICK AND KRISSY" was already cancelled. Gone from the site and the podcasts.

Re: 97.1 radio signal interference
Thanks. It's only on sunny days, so probably not 96.7. I'll just stream it from my phone.

97.1 radio signal interference
When driving home through Detroit, 97.1 is getting interference from a music station. This occurs from Jefferson, all of the way north to Davison and sometimes beyond. It is very annoying on some days and unlistenable. Anyone know what station might be causing this? I'm assuming it is Canadian. How ...

Re: Gretchen the Media Queen
The left seems to be blaming Trump for the virus deaths, how about the numbers in Michigan can't we blame Gretchen? Michigan has THE HIGHEST case fatality rate in the entire nation. She should answer to that. Supposedly, conspiracy theory, they get federal funding for each COVID-19 death, something...

Re: Ali Hoxie's Cher impression
Rachel was awesome! She's in mid-Michigan somewhere now, closer to where she grew up. Erin left on her own, and still does some things with 7 here and there. LaFlamme is dating or engaged to a guy who works at Channel 7, maybe that had something to do with it. I always wondered who was taking her In...

Re: Retro TV WHNE
People in apartments and condos can't be putting up pole antennas with giant masts that make it look like you're trying to tune in Tokyo. They are most likely the ones who actually can't afford cable, not someone with a big house and land, who just doesn't want to pay for cable. Poles are not a solu...

Is Jay's wife rich? It didn't sound like he had a lot of case work as a lawyer, then he quit the podcast to study for some finance thing. I'm not a regular listener.

Re: Marc Fellhauer is a Dope
Wow. Did Marc personally attack everyone on here at a meet and greet? There's 10s of thousands of current podcasts, including 3 a week with Maz. We've already lost Detroitcast, now you want to cancel Drew and Mike? There's some other local ones, but they're not ex-broadcasting employees, just some J...

Re: Koco McAboy is leaving WDIV (Local 4) for the West Coast
Everyone leaves The D at some point, whether by choice or laid off. Sad weather, murders daily, nothing going on in the city (especially on the weekend, it's a ghost town downtown), bad roads, daily news reports on corrupt government, lower TV pay than other markets, etc.

Re: Koco McAboy is leaving WDIV (Local 4) for the West Coast
I didn’t like her tremendously (they hire a lot of odd reporters at 4) but good for her moving up to a warmer and bigger market. 4 is still a pretty transient station... folks market hop through there. 7 has been hiring people who wanted to come back home, right now they have 1 reporter without som...
