Re: Canada's Liberal Government Drops the Ball on Covid Vaccine.

It would seem to me that since Canada and the UK share a sovereign, the UK would step up and share their resources. Perhaps Pierre's kid needs to drop a dime on someone on the other side of the pond.

Re: Pardon Blitz

... If Trump can pardon himself, of any and all alleged wrongdoing, do it. It would be worth it just to watch your liberal heads explode. It's going to surprise me if he gets charged with anything. Yeah, I know someone will come back talking about it's a NY thing. But I don't think Biden wants to s...

Re: "Sydney Powell is nuts"-----Trump

Sidney Powell's Statement: I agree with the campaign’s statement that I am not part of the campaign’s legal team. I never signed a retainer agreement or sent the President or the campaign a bill for my expenses or fees. My intent has always been to expose all the fraud I could find and let the chip...

Re: Pelosi's Son Associated in Another Gas Co Scandal?

Ever notice how parents with more than one child often raise individuals instead of cookie cutter kids? That is - one kid is a hero, another timid. Or a few are straight and one is gay. Maybe one unlucky kid suffers from the illness of addiction, but the others do not. Etc. What I want to know is t...

Re: Speedway gas stations going bye bye

But you wouldn't get your Speedy Rewards. :8) I can tell you unequivocally that my local Speedway gets a ton more traffic than the 7-Eleven (no gas) with lines often extending to the door during morning and afternoon rush hours. I can't see the latter keeping the 7-Eleven name if the former takes i...

Re: Speedway gas stations going bye bye

If so, the 7-Eleven directly across the street from my local Speedway will be going bye-bye. Interestingly, this Reuters article and this CS News article conflict in that one says 7-Eleven's parent is ready to sell 300 gas stations following the Speedway purchase while the other states that it'll b...

Re: Trains from AA to Traverse City?

This has failure written all over it. Been pondering this since I seen this thread earlier. Would there be enough riders to justify? Or would it be a mostly empty money pit? I did some googling. Appears you can take a bus from A-squared to Traverse by way of Kalamazoo. 6 1/2 hours. So how many folk...

Re: How does Nielsen work

I'll be happy to answer this, as we just mailed back our diaries for the 6 days after the election. About a month ago, we received a letter in the mail from Nielsen, stating that we've been selected to participate in radio ratings for our market. The letter included $2 in CASH. If I remember correc...

Re: Election reform ideas

Well, I won't argue about the pros and cons of mail ballots. But this is the first year I voted early at City Hall. I'll be voting early from now on. Walked in, got a ballot, filled it out right in the lobby, turned it in. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes.

Re: Now Rocks Are Racist Too...

It was called "niggerhead". So what? things were different then. Has "Nigger" become a common word on campus because of it? Is racism a problem on campus any more than it is at any other campus? Because someone said "Nigger" decades ago, or even today, that shouldn't be an issue. Grow up! What's th...

Re: Renaming "politically incorrect" terms

Since everyone is now a wimp, we have to rename things that wimps find "offensive." Instead of the "China-virus," it's now renamed the "small penis, slanted eyes, good at math" virus. "Fags" will now be referred to as "cock-suckers." Now, I believe a more PC term would be knob polishers. Don't that...

Re: Election reform ideas

Also the electoral college needs to be abolished. It's too much of a convoluted system. Just use popular vote. I disagree. KM1125 gives one reason. Everyone other than the 3 or 4 biggest states may as well stay home. But there's another reason that often gets overlooked. All the other states can pa...
