Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:

Cameron was doing a pretty interesting interview with Ken Holland, but then cut into it with updates of the UM/MSU game and Pistons game. An update with just the scores would have been OK, but Cameron went into a long analysis of each game, putting Holland on hold. Then he kept asking Holland the sa...

CD Alternatives to Radio

The threads on 98.7 and 106.7 reminded me of the frustration of expecting too much from Detroit radio. So I grabbed a bunch of CDs from my dusty pile in the basement, and enjoyed some music that I will probably never hear on Detroit radio: Tusk by Fleetwood Mac Blood on the Tracks by Bob Dylan A col...

I'll throw in my vote for WXYZ's Kim Russell. Hottie!
Same here. She reminds me of another old favorite, Denise Dador.

Re: Andrea Isom, why is she back on my telly?

When I moved back to the mitten last year I was surprised to see Andrea Isom on the air again. I know using the words "on the air" are strong considering the fluffy sht she does. How has no one told her her reporting style is dreadful? How does she stay employed? Does she work for free? Why is she ...

Re: Ron Cameron In One Word:

For all you Ron Cameron "lovers". Don't know if anyone posted this before, but I found it on You Tube. There's a few more on there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgZNuVu_WQ0 I loved the "Who are these two clowns?" look on Chuck Daly's face. Interesting to hear Kocur talking two weeks before the i...

Anything by the Beatles. I never change the station when they're on.

Why are people acting like this is new info btw?

Multiple people a year come out with stories about him.

Over dramatic much?
It's really old news, following the different legal settlements many years ago.

Re: The NEW Detroit Wheels Team...NOW in Spring-Training!

The new 106.7 sounds little more like a bunch of castoffs from Detroit rock stations of old thrown together on a new station. The playlist isn't a vintage WLLZ playlist or one that follows the same music formula that WLLZ followed but rather something that is designed to be positioned exactly halfw...

Re: 106.7 WLLZ: Detroit's Wheels (Classic Rock) is here

I tuned into 106.7 when I got off work at 4:30 and they were playing a hard-rocking AC-DC song that fit my mood (It's a Long Way to the Top if You Wanna Rock'n'Roll). Then they played it again...and again...and again...and again. I think I counted five or six times before the big announcement at 5:0...

Re: Michael Cohen hearing on CBS, ABC, and NBC

Interesting how the media focused on that big exchange about the word racist. Talib says you can't say racist because you're a Republican and only Democrats can say racist and besides I'm a person of color (a description that seems reserved for only some people in spite of the fact that everyone is ...

Re: Theme Songs for this Forum

Gangrene, by Todd Rundgren and Utopia.

It includes these lyrics:

Fifty million kids with nothing better to do
Than sit around like a zombie and stare at the tube
They'll sap your strength and suck your soul and
Feed you their trash
'Til your mind is left blank
And your dreams have been smashed

Has any song been played more by WDZH than Foolish Heart by Steve Perry?
