Talked to my contact @ Midwest. Seems that the storms on Saturday took out the transmitter and they were working on getting something back on the air. If you say that it's back on, then I guess they got it working again.

I can honestly say that I only really listened to 850 when I was spending the day at the beach.

I listen to 96.5 all day on Monday and Tuesday was nothing mention of the switch. If i was not on this site would not known that they went to 106.5fm. During the week long simulcast of Jack on both 96.5 and 106.5 from the 24th to the 3rd, there were promos every break about it moving to 106.5. Heck ...

It seems that 96.5 JACK FM is now simulcasting on 106.5...

Or, since all the imaging says 106.5 Jack FM, it's the other way around?

If so, what's 96.5 going to be? Is Z going to make a return?

Don't understand this at all. Guessing maybe the licensing agreements with the various sports talk shows and networks was up and they didn't want to renew? And honestly, I listened to most of them on satellite anyways. And while H*** isn't always my cup of tea, it was nice to have local talk in the ...

About Jack: have they even done anything to promote it? When I was out there, I didn't see any billboards or any sort of advertising about the station. You'd think they'd want to promote the hell out of it... It's a shame, because I think the station sounds pretty damn good. Sent from my Pixel 3a ...

Looks like the previous Brand Manager (Joe C.) Jumped ship to become an OM for a cluster down in Iowa. Must be really bad in that office to want to move to Iowa.
