Sorry, I don't have the answers about a mobile version. My radio related software is on a laptop running Windows 8.1. Other than that I don't own any mobile devices.

Re: Michigan Broadcast Towers

Thanks CK-722...I totally forgot about Scott Fybush's towers and he does have some from trips into Michigan. When I plan a trip somewhere, I use Google Earth with the plugin from fccinfo.com. The plugin was many options such as separate AM, FM, and TV transmitter sites, or you can do them all togeth...

Re: Michigan Broadcast Towers

Tom Bosscher was the man behind Michigan Broadcast Towers and I believe he is on this board. There are links to his pictures on Michiguide.com, but the domain is now up for sale. There is/was another website that shown tower photos (SE Michigan/Toledo area) from an airplane and I haven't been able t...

Re: Daylight Savings Time, Keep it or get rid of it...

I'm with most here with stop the switching back/forth, preferably keeping the time at DST.

As far as changing the time...I use atomic clocks so I don't have to concerned about it.

Re: Internet over the Airwaves?

A couple of areas used to (and may still do) offer wireless internet: The little town of Ashley (east of US-127 off M-57) with an access point on top of their water tower. I believe the town provided the service. The area around the little town of Vestaburg (west of Alma off of M-46) had an access p...

Re: The Beatles, Love Them or Hate Them

Love the Beatles. Those of you talking about John Lennon obviously haven't heard his earlier albums with Yoko Ono screaming. Other than that, I like his music as well as the other three in their solo careers. I own most of the Beatles' music on CDs and cassettes (some of which are the originals rele...

Re: Why is RDS so inconsistent?

There is an RDS (actually it's RDBS here in the US) standards document that's over 100 pages long. I can't find it using Google search and Dogpile doesn't work here in the office. The PS is supposed to show the station ID and not scroll so it won't distract the driver in a car. The RT is for station...

Re: CBSDetroit62

CBS was originally on WJBK TV2 until the station abruptly switched to Fox, leaving CBS without a station in the Detroit market. WGPR TV62 was locally owned and I believe the only station up for sale/available when CBS bought it. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Utica

Dawn (actually Dawn Foods) is still around with their HQ just off Exit 145 (Sargent Road) northeast of Jackson. They used to have a doughnut shop in Jackson (West Ave. just north of North St.). It's now a Dunkin Donuts, who moved in shortly after Dawn moved out.

Re: Man, Chrysler/Jeep makes shitty cars...

I have given up on the so-called American made cars. They may assembled here in the states, but a lot of the parts come from all over the world. I've never cared much for Chrysler vehicles and was disappointed when they bought American Motors. GM, we bought a new 1985 Chevy Cavalier off the lot and ...
