Re: Outside Agitators Responsible For Extreme Violence

Screen Glare - Normal people don't gather to throw bricks and other projectiles at officers in distant cities who had zero involvement in what took place in Minneapolis. Perhaps because something very similar has happened in their own hometown. Repeatedly. Sea-to-shining-sea. Ever play Jenga? Minne...

Re: For the first time ever, Twitter fact-checks the President

Sorry for the long post that follows, but there's a lot to get to here... First, the 2-post tweet in question from Trump: There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out ...

Re: For the first time ever, Twitter fact-checks the President

It's really very simple. Don't spew jive that is easily verifiable as bullshit and you won't get the fact-check police flagging you. Why is this so difficult for some of you to grasp? Because Adam Schiff was never "fact-checked." Perhaps he should have been. If that had happened does that change th...

It's really very simple. Don't spew jive that is easily verifiable as bullshit and you won't get the fact-check police flagging you. If you decline to do that then it should not come as a surprise you're going to get called out for it.

Why is this so difficult for some of you to grasp?

Jesus Bryce, for the most part you're talking about people who are dead and gone.
You need to be real careful if you want to start making people atone for the sins of their fathers.

Re: Even The N.Y. Times Thinks Democrats Are Racist

I'm not sure how well traveled everyone is but having lived in NC for extended periods I can assure you currently it's not the Democrats that welcome any and all opportunities to stand on the necks of minorities.

As for the past, that's the past.

Re: Best/worst announcers of all time.

I think the worst color commentator of all time was Dennis Miller when he was on MNF from 2000-2001. He was pretty much panned for his unfunny jokes and was let go after one season. Yeah, Miller was a fish out of water for that gig, yet he beat Rush Limbaugh for the position. Rush later got the run...

Re: The Last Dance and Jordan’s gambling

Sounds like Pippin, along with Horace Grant, is none too happy about how they were cast in the "documentary". https://www.foxnews.com/sports/scottie-pippen-beyond-livid-michael-jordan-portrayed-him-last-dance I've always been of the opinion that there's nothing more pathetic than older, former athle...

Trump Is Treating Michigan the Way He Treated Ukraine. Well Done, Senate Republicans

From Rolling Stone:

Outstanding, especially in light of all the grief I got some months back about Trump* pulling a fast one during the election. In your own backyard no less.

Re: Mt St Helens

I was camping with a friend near the John Day river in Oregon about 75 miles as the crow flies from Mt. St. Helens. I distinctly remember being woken up by some sort of, not so much loud, but primal sound. The first thing I noticed was the wildlife was going crazy. We didn't think too much about it ...
