Re: COZI-TV apparently on the sidelines, for now...
Nexstar Media Group has shuffled its OTA side-channel lineup, taking the "Stadium" betting/sports channel to 15.2, airing TheGrio on 8.3, where Stadium had been and thus, it's COZI-TV seemingly on the shelf for the moment. I know 54.3 through 54.5 still read "New Channel Coming Soon," and would wel...

Re: Hmmm,is the news drought at CBS62 about to come to an end?
If true, the station is seemingly afraid to promote it. I'm skeptical that tomorrow is the rollout. To roll out news with minimal promotion would suggest management has little confidence in the quality of the product. Is that the case here? I do not know. Could be that they're doing a "soft open" t...

Re: Coast FM in the mid 90s
The 94.5 tower was (maybe still is?) over in Hebron Township. I remember when it was 94.3. Used to drive near it going to my grandparents' house back in the '90s. Always created a bit of interference with any station when driving close by it. When Del changed to 94.5, the interference problem disap...

Re: LPTVs On The Air Testing
W28EJ and W30DQ are now testing and their IDs added, but although the COL is Charles, MI, it says Sault Set. Marie on the screen. Anyone know when the Elmhurst channels will be on from the WMKC tower? They were delayed earlier this spring because of getting heavy cement trucks on the roads in that ...

Re: WHNE adds Rewind TV, returns to UHF thru channel sharing
Where are the technical specifications for the Winegard, gain, pattern, etc.? Does it work well for WHNE? It looks like figure 8, 0 dBd on VHF Low, slight gain on VHF High due to parasitic elements, and UHF due to the UHF directors. Remember you get about 10 dB of noise free, passive gain from moun...

Re: WHNE adds Rewind TV, returns to UHF thru channel sharing
It would be nice if they could allocate a few more bits to those subchannels that have motion video and less to those shopping channels WHNE has 12 channels. 3 channels sell stuff. Don't you think that 9 channels of programing out of 12 is enough to entertain people? They do have to make money to o...

Re: This TV 4.2 OTA
I don't get this channel over the air. Is it new? WHNE-LD has been operating from its Oak Park location since 2014. Was on Virtual 14 (RF20) until last repack. Now on low VHF3 (Virtual and RF) since spring 2020. Low power 3 kW on low VHF makes for difficult reception for many in metro area. Too bad...

Re: This TV 4.2 OTA
The WHNETV.COM web site has the complete schedule for all WHNE channels and ALL of the local Detroit TV stations right on the home page.
It can be changed to check different days and times with a pull-down menu. I've never seen anyone post this before, but it's been available for several years.

Don't forget that the WHNE Drive In channel (3.6) on plays classic movies without any interruptions. Commercials are played between the movies.
