Re: WHNE needs your Help........
WHNE could easily have been on UHF 30 and at 15 kW by using this directional pattern I sketched. https://postimg.cc/8fjJY8WJ

Re: WHNE needs your Help........
Because W33BY is a class a, and WUDL claimed that UHF band frequency before WHNE. It's a first come first serve world. I'd like to know why WHNE didn't pick 30.

Re: I now know your pain...
Finally got my WinTV PC tuner working, so I'm planning on going to Toledo with it just so I can finally see just how bad WMNT is. I'll be recording the channels on my tuner too just so I can have a memory, cuz I really need to see just how bad it is.

Re: WHNE needs your Help........
If you're close enough and the signal is strong enough, I'm sure the 7-51 antenna could receive it. That is, in a roughly 2 mile radius. My antenna I use is an Antennas Direct Clearstream 4Max, it's one of those antennas with the 2 figure-8 components, and I found out my indoor reception is better w...

Re: WLPC Moved to 28
Im not receiving them anymore either, they must have just been testing out their RF28 signal. They'll have to move by the 21st permanently as that's when the current repack phase (I think phase 3) ends

Re: WHNE needs your Help........
UPDATE: A couple days ago, WHNE applied with the FCC to operate as a Digital LPTV on VHF 3, and have requested an exception be made so they can operate at 6.5 kW.

WUPW's contour on 26 reaches all the way to Allen Park. It's really a matter of what's more important: Downriver or Oakland County?RingtailedFox wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 11:57 pmSince UHF 26 is now open, can't WHNE ask for permission to move back to that frequency?

Re: WHNE needs your Help........
Watched one episode yesterday...every few minutes everything froze for a second. You’re lucky you even got a signal, Just wait when the station moves to RF Channel 3. Why didn't WHNE just move to UHF 14. With the right directional pattern, they'd be able to not interfere with CHCH or WLAJ and still...

WLPC Moved to 28
WLPC has moved to UHF 28 and increased to 4 kW, and now I can finally say I receive all Metro Detroit TV stations, and it's really not that interesting. A bigger waste of spectrum than WUDL. Hopefully they add Decades to 28.5, Decades doesn't seem to have much of a problem with Class A LPTVs, it's t...

Why does WADL's airing of Bob's Burgers tonight look like a compressed mp4 file of a VHS transfer?

Re: Subchannels
Court TV on 20.4 is just speculation. The Rabbit Ears site master said he just guessed 20.4 because Court announced Scripps would carry it in Detroit, and WMYD was the only Scripps station in the area that wasn't filled to the .4 (WXYZ has mobile DTV on 7.4) plus Court wasn't announced in Lansing, b...

Re: WHNE channel 14
Here's something weird, if you go to GetTV's channel finder and enter a Metro Detroit zip code (like 48122), it says to watch on 38.3. But entering Flint's zip (48501) gets you 14.2. I think they still think WHNE is in Flint
