Re: Christmas music 2020

Walmart is playing Christmas music. Ugh! Makes me not want to shop there. When I worked at Walgreens in Cheboygan years ago, corporate had the music programmed for Christmas starting Nov 1, 7 am-7 pm. Then it would switch to a sort of soft-ac/classic rock format at 7 pm-7 am. I and about 30 employe...

Re: Worst-sounding radio stations of all-time.

When I was at Aquinas (I'm sure it has gotten better by now - 14 years later) the campus radio station was consistently going off-air. No one knew why that happened, but there was an internet feed through the campus intranet, so those anywhere on campus with a laptop could tune in. I don't remember ...

Re: 25-66 spreads Sinclair election misinformation

Shouldn't all these be investigated if we're really to trust the voting process?? They may or may not change the results of this election, but they certainly have the potential to affect an outcome. Exactly. Even with Trump continually claiming that he won, I really don't think he cares at this poi...

Re: Unbelievable, ABC12!

Joe Biden is portrayed as moderate. But I fear that the DNC's plan is for Biden to resign shortly into his presidency (maybe a year in?) citing health issues or something similar, thus putting our first Female president (and one who has COLOR!) in without actually being elected. It's just a feeling...

Re: Antenna Man

You can do the same with 7&4 (Channel 4) if you live IN Cheboygan. Back in analog days, if you lived in Cheboygan you didn't even need anything to get Ch. 4, just turn the TV on and there you go, although kinda snowy. I may have to try the paperclip and see what happens. Maybe I'll actually get 12 lol

Re: EPG info for 17 and 38

I don't know how those EPGs work, but it might something relatively easy to setup? With as small as those stations are, I'm not sure the money is there to do it?

Wonderful WAWM. 98.9, EMF, Air1. Formerly WJML-FM and WKLZ.

Look it up.
Ok, I obviously missed the call letter change.

There’s now an effort to have the FCC remove the licenses of Sinclair TV stations. It’s a long shot, but Sinclair has shown that it is only interested in bending the rules to make more money — not operating in the public interest.
An unfortunate truth of many large corporations...

What is OAN?

I wasn't aware Scott Livingston was at 25-66. Is he related to Pat Livingston at 7&4?

With all the b.s. negativity out there right now, a simple local story that isn't racial or presidential is a nice change, in my opinion.

Might be tired from getting up at 4am and working a split shift. Uggh..
Why would he get up at 4 am and work a split shift? Or more so, if he is doing all evening newscasts, why getting up at 4 am. They have four meteorologists right now
