In Kalamazoo last year, 106.5 went all-Christmas around or shortly before Thanksgiving and actually saw its ratings plunge to record low levels (for the WVFM era of the station). I haven't noticed a lot different about the 5:30 show, but I don't watch all that closely. Maybe they're trying to break it up a little bit so it doesn't seem like the same thing repeated each half hour. Lora came from Lansing (WILX) where she anchored weekday mornings. Two WLNS anchors are out. Bonney Bowman and Alexandra Ilitch are both out and from the sounds of it, WLNS might be doing some questionable things.
