Fall 2019 ratings

https://ratings.radio-online.com/content/arb335 KLT REALLY exploded in this book. Rock 105 slipped a touch, probably because of Smitty quitting the station once again. Speaking of which, The Bear had its best book in a while, probably due to him moving to mornings there. Not much else to report. Mac...

"The New 106-KHQ" ?? What changed?
I think he was referring to when the station signed on nearly 40 years ago.

A big KLT fan wrote:I think this is a great move. With the O-man, Terri Ray and Tom Devitt, this gives KLT , in my opinion, the best jock line up in Northern Michigan.
Sorry to report, but wasn't Tom Devitt dumped in the last house cleaning a month ago?
Yes. He confirmed it on Facebook recently.

Putting the KMET logo upside down was former DJ/programmer Shadoe Stevens' idea. A great idea, if there ever was one.

Very sad news regarding Aris Hampers

Longtime Grand Rapids radio personality Aris Hampers took to Facebook this morning to announce that he can no longer talk due to his battle with throat cancer. Hello all! I figured it was time to finally speak out as to why I've been absent here on Facebook and from life in general for the past 6 mo...

Where are all the sympathetic posters Who Loved all radio stations? They've all gotten very quiet.

Re: SiriusXM Censored and Uncensored Channels

Usually, the channels with explicit content are identified with "XL" for "Xtreme Language". Most of the Rap/Hip-Hop channels have that rating, though Channel 46 - The Heat doesn't. My theory is that it's a hit-based channel, plus they wanted at least one Hip-Hop channel businesses could play.

Everybody will have jobs come next Sunday. btw - I will continue to point out that they Lions haven't won a game yet without Stafford. Their next game is this Thursday. Sadly, Martha fi...

Victoria Bishop is the wife of "Trucker Randy" Bishop, the former host of "Your Defending Fathers" on the former 94.5 WYPV.

Sounds like that format's coming back.
