Is there anyplace or anyone local who can convert some 3/4" U-matic tapes to a digital format (MP4, AVI, etc)?
I have a few old tapes that I'd like to get converted. Nothing of high value, just some clips on a few different cassettes. I also have a couple that I have no idea what's on them anymore so it would be nice to know that either 1) they're blank or 2) there's nothing of value.
Any suggestions? I've looked at some of the commercial places around the country but not sure it's worth a big expense.
