Rite Aid bankrupt
Re: Rite Aid bankrupt
I use the Walmart Pharmacy. Too many issues with Rite-Aid. They never answered their phones so I had to physically drive there. I asked about it but they said they are always short staffed. No excuse. They made me waste my time and gas to drive there all because they wouldn't answer the phone. Also I wasn't getting my auto refills when I needed them.
Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six

Re: Rite Aid bankrupt
I frequent the Rite Aid within walking distance of my house. It's my go to place for prescriptions because of the location.... a mid distance par 4 as the crow flies.
I no longer directly engage trolls
Re: Rite Aid bankrupt
Something strange. We don't have Rite Aid in Canada, but for the past couple of years Rite Aid branded products have been showing up in the Dollar stores here.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Delete pharmacies and add Hobby Lobby, and you are Audiophile.
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.
Re: Rite Aid bankrupt
How can Audiophile support Hobby Lobby when that corporation is against Abortion rights?

Initial store closing list for Michigan - only 19 currently open locations are affected:

As noted in my earlier post, there have already been some one-off closures.

WalMart Pharmacies usually close during lunch in many locations. It probably has to do with the salaries and benefits of Pharmacists, unless there are two or more in a really busy location. I think there has to be a supervising Pharmacist present and on duty to dispense at least some prescription drugs, certain Schedules.
Some OTCs like Pseudoephedrine even require a Pharmacist to be present as I recall. Some other decongestants were marketed as being just as good, but they were recently found to be ineffective, specifically Phenylephrine.

Other countries may not be as restrictive.
Collapse of Viagra and vaccine revenues may be contributing to closings too.

Indeed, those items are kept behind the pharmacy counter because sale of such items is regulated. ID is required and quantity purchased is tracked. Some OTCs like Pseudoephedrine even require a Pharmacist to be present as I recall.
Claritin-D is one such example.

I think it was TC Talks, expert on everything, who claimed here years ago that the new decongestant formulations with phenylephrine were just as good. I knew they weren't. Many people switched to Benadryl instead, though it does cause drowsiness. I wonder where TC Talks studied Pharmacology.
One thing that TC may not know is that some drug tests cannot distinguish between metabolic products of pseudoephedrine and products of methamphetamine.

The only thing I'll take now for congestion/allergies/hives/etc is Quercetin/Bromelain caps. I have some food allergies that trigger hives, and if I feel any even starting to form, I just take one or two of those and they're stopped dead in their tracks within 10 minutes. For me they basically work as good as Benadryl but with no side effects whatsoever.
