So, refresh my memory. Outside of full cluster purchasing (Audacy/CBS, Greater Media/Beasley), how many sales like this have there been recently? WDMK went to Beasley...but what other major single signals have gone like this?

I'll also say: thank God (pun not intended) it wasn't Crawford. They would have likely turned it into yet another QAnon Talk Radio outlet. Having Bob Dutko on three stations is bad enough. That would've been worse than it going to VCY or BBN (or even AFR) in my opinion.
As far as Christian radio goes, FLR puts out a decent product - much better than We Make U ZZZZZ (too chatty/political) or Smile FM (boring, tight and stale playlist, rarely plays anything current, like the WIOT of CCM). And I certainly won't miss the Sam Hunt parade.
That said... 93.1 has been dead to me since Doug FM disappeared, and it will continue to be dead to me.

That's the worst part of it all. The people that bust ass and put their all into it and they get tossed out. And another national format like this means they're running out of places to go.

I gotta say, being of a certain age, there was a time when DRQ was THE top 40 station to listen to. To me, it was the last of the true top 40 stations; very varied, you never knew what might come next. Alt rock? Dance? Pop? That was still the time when a 30 year old classic rock band could have a current in heavy rotation. Sad to see another one go down. I really think a rhythmic AC might have worked there. Those of us that grew up on DRQ are in that sweet spot demographically. But I guess not now.

This is a sad day for FM radio….only a matter of time before more FM stations flip to fringe formats. I agree with others- ever since the flip to country 93.1 has been dead to me. Still, would have liked to seen a new format- anything besides religious.
