Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update on October 30. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. If this does not work, please click the "Contact Us" option near the lower right hand corner of the index page to contact me via email. I have responded to all password reset requests received through 6a ET on November 7. You should see an email from the "Admin" email account.

November 9 update: Due to app errors, I have disabled the Tapatalk plug-in. As such, the Buzzboard is currently unavailable in Tapatalk. I am trying to do a clean reinstall, but each reinstall attempt is generating database errors. I am hopeful that the issue will be able to be resolved in the next few days.

Thank you for your patience!

Did They Ever Think Of An MATV System?

The technical side of broadcasting. Think IBOC is a sham? Talk about it here! How about HDTV? Post DX reports here as well.

There's an apartment building I've seen in Detroit whose entire front wall is covered with DISH and DIrectTV sat dishes next to every tenant's window.
At least wherever this photo is from, somewhere they're aware of off-air tv and antennas.

Mount Wilson looks neat by comparison.

I would assume that this is in a foreign nation.

Of course, Mt. Wilson, a transmitter site assembled by RF professionals, actually is pretty neat. :D

Isn't it possible that some of the poles could cause problems for other ant.?

If my antenna was at that camera's position, and had to shoot directly through that forest of masts, maybe. Probably not much significant interaction between antennas on that rooftop.

Someone might have. But an MATV system would require surveys, permits, contractor installation, cabling the building, maintenance, and probably come with a charge tagged onto the monthly rent/lease or condo fee. While this looks like a mess, it's probably an easier and cheaper thing to accomplish individual antennas than to wire the whoie building. Plus, if there's a problem with an MATV system, everybody's TV is out. I"ve been in buildings with awful in-house RF systems, so you have to hold hope that the management gets problems with those taken care of quickly. Don't hold your breath!
