I thought the agreement was Beasley wasn’t going to change anything on Kiss FM and The Detroit Praise Network.

I personally would love to hear a Classic Soul Format on either Kiss or Hot 107.5 somebody needs to do it.

The only thing that would make sense for 105.9 is for Beasley to change Kiss to Kiss Classix 105.9 Classic Soul that would comfortably fit Tom Joyner and D.L. Hughley in the format and could actually result into better ratings. Also they need to keep John Mason on mid-days he’s a great talent for that station. As far as 107.5 I personally don’t think the Masons will ever sell but some type of LMA is in order but what is anyone’s guess.

I agree everyone wants to see a format change but if it ain't broke don't fix it.Steve79 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 8:05 amI don't hear any difference in the sound of the station whatsoever. Same VO talent/Station ID's, and the evening love show was always there, nothing new.
I have a tough time understanding Beasley taking over and are leaving everything the same and not making it their "own" ....
Why would a broadcaster AGREE to keep the formats and syndicated shows when they purchased the stations? Is this for a period of time?
Time will tell I guess.
