"Laverne & Shirley" TV theme song went to # 25 in 1976 & Cyndi only Top 40 song. Both "WKRP IN Cincinnati" & "Cheers" did hit the Hot 100 Charts.

This wasn't a TV theme, but ABC used to use The Love Unlimited Orchestra Love's Theme as transition music for it's golf coverage in the 70's. In my head that song has always seemed to me like a theme song for their coverage, (every time I hear it I think of golf.) I know that song was a hit.
