Re: Enya
Am I a fan? No. Can I listen to her music? Certainly!

Re: Enya
She re-released her best of album on vinyl in 2017 and I asked for it for this Christmas, and I was completely shocked and rather angry that my dad claimed to have never heard of her, lol.

Re: Enya
My favorite Enya song btw:
"Anywhere Is", from her 1995 album "The Memory Of Trees".
The single hit the top 10 in the UK, but not here of course. Pfft.

Re: Enya
I'd never heard of her either. But having listened to a few songs I hate to say it but she is sort of like rap music to me all sounds the same. One song with a million versus.

Re: Enya
My vinyl greatest hits has an insert with my favorite lyric from this heavenly song.
"If every man says all he can, if every man is true... do I believe the sky above is Caribbean Blue?..."
Along with like 50 photos of her.
She still looks as beautiful as she did 30 years ago.
Music is my life.

Re: Enya
I'm so bummed about 98.7 The Breeze dropping the Enya tunes. They were playing "Orinoco Flow" and "Only Time" like twice a day for over a month.
I still remember on November 13, when Orinoco Flow came on the station for the first time I almost screamed in excitement. Lmao.
Both are still playing on 98.1 The Breeze in SF though.
In fact, almost all the songs our Breeze dropped are all in regular rotation over there, such as The Carpenters

Re: Enya
"Flora's Secret" from her 2000 Album: A Day Without Rain
This was not released as a single, nor was a music video produced.
This album was much more "modern" sounding and did not feature much overdub like her previous albums (a style that defined her. Sometimes overdubbing her voice 500 times per song. I loved it)
