I'd tell you what I have in mind, but I can shoot it down myself.

If I knew what I was doing, I'd still be in the biz.

Sometime Saturday afternoon, WOMC finally cleaned up its muddy-as-hell audio. Station sounds normal again.

Historically their audio has always blown. For 190,000 they sound like a rimshot signal at times, very thin and no 'punch". It's been downright unlistenable lately.
I have not listened this weekend so if they fixed it, about time.

Bass response on WOMC has been excellent since mid-afternoon yesterday.

Treble response ain't the greatest, but it's better now than it's been.

During the entire work week last week, the station sounded dreadful. The low end & high end were completely washed out. My guess is all audio above 3 kHz was being wiped out; ditto for all audio below 250 Hz.

I just remember back many years ago on every Sunday the audio would sound awful. I never understood why.

This incident was on a Saturday though so idk

"Pushing Too Hard" was '66,NOT '65,because I was starting Grade Nine (Canada's first high school year ) when " Pushing Too Hard" hit,and "Now That I Found You'" was in '68 by the U.K. boy band The Foundations."

The song had two release dates the first in ’65 and re-released In ‘66 and charted in ‘66. Your welcome to look it up on Wikipedia and just so you and anyone else that’s interested the song was recorded in ‘65 as well. And the song “Now That I Found You” is a completely different tune than the Foundations song entitled “Baby Now That I Found You” look up the One Way song and you’ll understand. Thank You for Looking at My Signature it is greatly appreciated my friend.

At least entercom got their playlist historys up and running again.
But it looks almost like each station is typing up the entry data themselves.

Some random words and artists are all capitalized and others not, some song titles are not written out completely, etc.

And this all varies from station to station

104.3's audio still sounds unnaturally muddy. Higher end treble is completely suppressed.

Why does 104.3 have so many long stretches of cruddy sounding audio?
