I'm wearing a hoodie and I have an Army Blanket, (from World War 2 actually.)

I'm retired. But my cold weather attire for outside....
Insulated boots. I have removable felt lined for bitter cold
Regular jeans with baggie sweat pants over the top then a set of insulated Carhartt style bib overalls for my lower parts.
Shirtwise an insulated "long john" style under shirt. Then a hooded sweatshirt followed by a goose down coat with a Gore Tex outer shell. It has a nice hood for my head. The weak part of my gear at the moment are my gloves. If I am out too long.... 20 minutes say my hands get cold. If the wind is real I will wrap a long scarf around the neck area to cover most of my face.

If it's not this bitter I skip the goose down coat. My avatar is me at the dog park on a sub 20 degree day. The wind at the dog park is relentless unlike the wind in the neighborhood that is broken up by houses and trees.

4 layers of clothes, toe warmers and hand warmers in the gloves. It's pretty brutal working out there.

Wrapped in a blanket with the Old Lady, And Watching TV all day. That’s the plan.

I start with a nice pair of fur-lined insulated boots, fleece socks, and I wear layers up top (tank top, light T shirt with a hood and then a flannel shirt) under my old Army "arctic parka" with the H*** hood. I wear a pair of subzero bib overalls, usually with just cutoffs or gym shorts under it because they are downright freaking hot. At most, I'll wear a pair of jeans under them. Lastly, a stocking cap and flip-open mittens. If it's really windy, I'll go for a ski mask.

INSIDE the house depends where I am. My studio is pretty warm from the computers and gear, so I usually wear shorts or cutoffs and a tee. In the rest of the house, cotton pajama pants and a long-sleeve tee shirt. When I get chilly spells, I put on my fleece bathrobe, usually for about 5 minutes tops.

I confirm all my information through a high, white whore's souse!

This is a bad cold spell, In the last 4 days we lost 2 outdoor cats to the cold temps, They were feral cats so we couldn’t bring them in with our dogs, We had these cats for 4 years, And They normally survive the cold weather they stay in the shelter I built 4 years ago. 4 days ago one cat was found dead on the side of my house and this morning the second cat in the backyard, So needless to say it’s been a bad one.

It was sort of a sad day but it happens, We all love animals here, The Grandchildren sometimes act like animals, I can’t wait till they get back in school, Kim was home all day, At first I thought it would be just the two of us then guess what? My Daughter calls up and asked “Dad could you and Mom watch the kids today?” Kim right away says “I haven’t seen the kids for 2 Weeks that would be great”, So no Kimmy time again. She’s has a lot of making up to do.
