What cell phone do you have?
I have the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Yes yes, it's old, I know, lol.
But it is simple and gets the job done.
The only issue I have is the low storage and RAM.

I have a Moto G4 I bought for $200. I got it for the price first and the fact that it is compatible with every carrier. I am a month to month Verizon guy.
My next one will almost for sure be a Moto G6 for the same reason.

The latest and greatest Moto, well the greatest until the next one comes out

How about this one, The Nokia 1208 from 2010, and still using it today with no problems even has FM Radio.
It’s my main cell phone and back in 2010 just paid $20. for it, My Wife on the other hand has been through 6 different versions of the Apple IPhones $700+ for each during the course of 9 years.

Galaxy S7. Bought it from Verizon. I pay for my phones up front and don't do those monthly device payments. Before this, I always used Straight Talk. The reason I switched was because Straight Talk didn't give me any coverage at all in the thumb area. The thumb is ruled by Thumb Cellular. They use Verizon signals thought ST doesn't roam. But since my S7 I am able to get service there.

Two. Samsung galaxy On5. A royal PITA to use, as the weather program crashed, causing a pop-up window dozens of times a day. I deleted the Weather app, yet the pop-ups continue anyway.
Even though I have very few programs, apps, or images, It's always telling me the storage is full.
I bought a second phone, an Alcatel A206G, mainly for when I ride my bicycle in the summer. It's a flip phone, far smaller than the On5. It has an excellent, highly sensitive FM radio with RDS display, and is not blocked (because one cannot buy music downloads with it, no reason to block it). The A206G cost me $5 (but I think it is no longer being sold). For $5 it's a bargain as an RDS FM radio as the radio works even without service (I checked). I do use it as a phone, usually costing $6.66/mo (3 month $20 TracFone cards) The two phones give me MI and OH area codes. However, the most frequent use of the phones is to call the other phone when it is lost!

We meaning my family and me used to use two tin cans and a string but it was a bitch for long distance calls, But actually when we go camping we use those FRS Radios and they are cool, we used the ones that cover like 35 miles.

BlackBerry 10
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.
