I noticed that the reporters on NewsNet have been wearing the same clothes for days now, no wardrobe change whatsoever 😆 😝 😂 Maybe they didn’t receive their first paycheck yet.
Doesn't your TV have audio? Mine does, that's is why I would listen to the news as they read it out loud. Does it really matter what they're wearing?

Wait, I do remember "Nude News" when the anchor's undressed while reading the news. I wasn't to concerned about about the actual news stories during those reports.

I highly doubt anyone would watch these clowns if they were nude, Nobody really is tuned in now, well maybe if the chic was nude, I’d watch but my old lady would slap the hell out of me, And I would get Ramen Noodles for Dinner 🥘

TVBobN - the audio is definitely cleaner than before. Picture quality seems a touch better than before; the color palette remains dull and I still see some .mp4 type distortion during scenes with fast motion. To be fair, I notice similar issues with a number of 480i subchannels up & down the dial; those issues certainly aren't limited to WHNE.

It looks like they've filmed 5 or 6 special interest segments and are airing them over and over.

With all of the subchannels available on the Metro Detroit television dial, it amazes me that there is no 24/7 weather channel available in OTA in Metro Detroit.

I totally agree, you would think with 50 channels counting subs that someone would do weather, it can’t cost that much for 2, 4, 7 or even 62 to have a sub devoted to weather 24/7.

Well it still costs money that I don't think they are willing to risk, since most people can get weather on their smartphones with just a few clicks.
The idea is outdated now.
I still like the idea though

Channel 4 had NBC Weather Plus many, many years ago.

AccuWeather, WeatherNation and perhaps other services produce national programming appropriate for .2 and .3 channels. There are multiple markets in Michigan where such programming is available OTA. Detroit is not one of 'em, though.

Here's a very recent article from industry publication "TV Technology" about NewsNet.

I'll pay more attention next time. I am upgrading my antenna system in hopeful anticipation of cutting the cable except for a package with must see channels that are not carried OTA. My spouse was passing by the TV while I was going through the 14.X offerings. She asked, "What's Whine?" I explained that "It's HONEY not WINE, Honey".

I came home after dark tonight and our color solar LED lights were spontaneously and alternately BLUE and GREEN. I told my spouse that if anyone asked, tell them that one of our kids goes to UM and the other to MSU, and we want both of them to feel welcome when they come home for the weekend.

Both of these events really happened tonight. Embellished only very slightly.

Is THAT where they got the idea for the 486-SX?
