"I Can't Tell You Why" by The Eagles has came on FOUR TIMES today!

Now I love the song and it's one of the ones I requested, but, this is wayyyyy too excessive and I am positive listeners will not appreciate this.
I can't wrap my head around how/why this is going on.

SONGS TO BRING BACK THAT WERE REMOVED WITH THE NEW RnB HEAVY PLAYLIST:

Ambrosia - How Much I Feel
Elton John - "Crocodile Rock" and "Sacrifice"
Air Supply - All Out Of Love
Lionel Richie - Say You, Say Me
Dido - "Thank You" and "White Flag"
King Harvest - Dancing In The Moonlight
Linda Ronstadt ft. Aaron Neville - Don't Know Much
Nelly Furtado - I'm Like A Bird
Captain & Tennille - Love Will Keep Us Together
Seal - Kiss From A Rose
Air Supply - Even The Nights Are Better
England Dan & John Ford Coley - "Nights Are Forever Without You" and "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight"
Eagles - "Take It Easy" and "New Kid In Town"
Bread - Everything I Own
ABBA - Knowing Me, Knowing You
Jackson Browne - Tender Is The Night
Bill Withers - Lean On Me
Amy Grant - Baby Baby
Ben E. King - Stand By Me
Celine Dion - The Power Of Love
Harry Nilson - Without You
Eric Carmen - Hungry Eyes
Howard Jones - No One Is To Blame
The Carpenters - Superstar
Orleans - Still The One
Phil Collins - One More Night
Genesis - Follow You Follow Me
Gloria Estefan - Anything For You
Mike and The Mechanics - The Living Years
Carl Carlton - Everlasting Love
Enya - Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)
Styx - Babe
Maria Muldaur - Midnight At The Oasis
Kenny Loggins - Whenever I Call You Friend
Stevie Nicks - Leather and Lace
Fleetwood Mac - "Say You Love Me" and "Don't Stop" and "Over My Head"
Firefall - You Are The Woman
Richard Marx - Right Here Waiting
Little River Band - Lady
Bob Seger - You'll Accomp'ny Me
Bee Gees - How Can You Mend A Broken Heart
Don Henley - The End Of The Innocence
Heart - Alone
Cher - If I Could Turn Back Time
Commodores - "Nightshift" and "Easy"
Chicago - Baby, What A Big Surprise
Glenn Medeiros - Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For you
Peabro Bryson - If Ever You're In My Arms Again
Paul Davis - Cool Night
Chris De Burgh - The Lady In Red
Matchbox 20 - Unwell
Debbie Gibson - Lost In Your Eyes
Boz Scaggs - Lowdown
Joey Scarbury - Believe It Or Not
Gordon Lightfoot - Sundown
Backstreet Boys - As Long As You Love Me
James Taylor - Fire and Rain
Pat Benatar - We Belong
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
The Bangles - Eternal Flame
Peter Cetera - Glory Of Love

Seals and Crofts - Get Closer [[needs to play more than just once in the dead of night]]

That's all I can think of right at this moment.

Why were these removed?
I can understand removing Barry Manilow, John Denver, and Kenny Rogers, but all the ones I mentioned were perfect.

Why not put all these ones back in with what is playing now and mix it up more so no more 4 hour song rotations

The current playlist is starting to sound like WOMC without the classic rock. Sigh.

Then on Wednesday I found out that Tim Roberts is currently acting as temporary PD.

I should have known though.
The guy programming in the stale overelayed songs that have been on WOMC for years of course would be the one playing the exact same ones on the Breeze.

I hope they get an actual PD so the station can actually sound decent like it did back a month ago.
Nobody wants to hear Every Breath You Take and Caribbean Queen anymore, especially not on 2 stations now.

Hey Stopnswop, the more playlist you create the more confusing it gets for the people at The Breeze, If you stop making playlists maybe 98.7 will sound better in the music department, those people in charge of music are running around the station like chickens with their ears cut off. yeah right! talk to you later.

HI radioKev, if you read my post you will see that is just a list of songs Tim removed from their playlist.
I don't wanna hear "forget me nots" by whatever her name is. This isnt mix 92.3.
I want the real stuff back

Patrice Rushen from 1982, great tune used to play it at WLBS back in the day.

Ah, yes that's her name, thanks.

But that song doesn't really fit in with the 50 year old women audience. That song is what I call a "teen bop".

It's playing now as we speak.

Whenever I hear it I picture a bunch of teens dancing to this during an after school outing in the 80s, lol

What’s funny is my Wife was 12 when the song came out. They need to play The S.O.S. Band now that was a great group that takes me back to my WLBS 102.7 days doing midnight-6am on the weekends.

"Take your Time" by the SOS band would fit in perfect with the current sound! Agreed!

Also I just remembered the song I kept talking about being needed on The Breeze. I heard it today on the Soft Rock music choice station and remembered about posting it.
"Back For Good" by Take That, from 1995.

So the Breeze gets rid of "Kiss From A Rose" by Seal, and WNIC adds it in after not playing it for 9 years. The Breeze also got rid of Air Supply and WNIC added a song by them back in too.

The Breeze needs to wake up before WNIC changes its sound even more
Don't replace good songs with RnB filler and expect to win.
