Because the last time somebody tried, it didn't go very well.

People say they don't like the sports talk in this town, but all the old grey-hairs from twenty years ago, and all the old columnists still keep getting work.

Jim Rome ? Isn't he that ugly,54-year-old dwarf who tries to be a bro despite being about nine months shy of being old enough to qualify for the Applebee's Early Bird Special ? Yeah, I'm sure Cowboy (who'd likely kick backstabber Rome in his boy bits if they ever met ) is ON SO JEALOUS of "Romey!!!!!"

Cowboy get a LIFE! Even Ronnie and Alex think you need to get a life. What JT won't put up with your nonsense that you give on Ron's show?

The P*rick won a Jim Rome Smackoff many years back, and parlayed his "fame" into a long radio career. ( Though Cowboy would likely win the 2019 Smackoff to become its first black and first senior citizen winner . )

Why would Cowboy call Rome ? From what I know of him, he doesn't fawn over talk show hosts the way Romey's "clones" (or are they CLOWNS?) slobber over him .

The very first winner of Jim Rome's Smackoff.

Tournour is a crooked stockbroker who barely missed the hoosegow (where Boomer Esiason's boy Craig Carton is headed for his $6 million U.S. Ponzi scheme conviction ), but Cowboy continues to own space in you boys' head .
