That actually looks sickening - but sounds good. I must be part Canadian. Good. I love Canada. Sort of like a civil, well mannered USA.

Today's breakfast.

Toast, sardines with a dollop of sour cream and hot peppers, dill pickle, V8 juice.

the only time I had any of those ingredients together was in a Bloody Mary. That was a crazy Bloody Mary.

For New Years our family stays in, too many idiots under the influence on the roads, and do a buffet sort of thing. Burgers, wings, chili, tacos, veggie and cheese trays and of course beer. The family likes the craft brews so they pick them beers for the evening. Any sort of traditions in your families?

Oyster stew and ice skating.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Build That Wall.... Keep police officers alive...
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A suspected drunken driver accused of killing a California police officer who pulled him over was captured Friday as he tried to flee back to Mexico, where he lived before illegally crossing into the U.S., authorities said.

The sheriff leading the investigation blamed California’s sanctuary law for preventing local authorities from reporting Gustavo Perez Arriaga to U.S. immigration officials for two previous drunken driving arrests. If he had been deported, the sheriff said, Cpl. Ronil Singh of the tiny Newman Police Department would still be alive.

I've noticed that too. The stuff we buy in the U.S. has a lot of added salt. I never have to add any to it. But Publix cottage cheese is soooo good.

Couldn't have been. Lasagna wasn't on his Christmas menu in the other thread. I'm guessing New Years.
If you can't find a cook to make it... These are pretty darn good if you over look the sodium content.

No, it's new years day. And Shayna will be making it. The only other thing she makes is reservations.

Except tonight, TT, she's making a meatloaf. We have plenty of milk here, too.

Meatloaf? If I knew where you live, I'd be at your door already.
