Hypocrite! Step down!

Post by lovinlife101 » Thu Nov 29, 2018 9:11 pm

Why did it take the news 13 days (nearly two weeks) to break this story?

I’m sure the department was forthcoming.

No one is stepping down.
An honorable sheriff would step down.

He put the public at risk when he decided to get wasted and get behind the wheel. He could have killed someone!

I’ve lost loved ones because of a drunk driver’s actions. A sheriff should know better, step down, and get help. He is unfit for office.

Oh, and here are some more of your heroes who should lose their jobs, too.

I doubt someone called the cops just because they saw a vehicle parked alongside the road, as the article states.
Yeah, I don't buy that MSM spin either.

With all the information out there, NOT to get behind the wheel if you have been consuming alcohol, and this Sheriff should know this better than the average person.

He got caught and now is trying to save his job, control, and power, with some cockamamie story.
You are an independent thinker, not swayed by the spin of media and cops. You are wise and you have my respect.

I love how you all have to keep defending this profane piece of garbage.

Seems like you all love this super drunk!

Oh, and read his comments. He thinks he’s better than you.

Oh, plenty of folks on here defend police blindly. Unfortunately, one is a news anchor. Rumor is that when the story ran in ABC12, he ran in front of the newsroom monitors and screamed “NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!!”

Rumor? You spreading rumors?
Rumor?!

The guy was super drunk! There’s video of it! How much more proof do you need?

Oh, and have you seen the updated story and video on 25? That’s what I thought.

He’s literally drunk with power.

What if a sheriff stole from taxpayers? Is that reason to resign?

What if a sheriff sells illegal drugs? Is that reason to resign?

What if a sheriff possesses child porn? Is that reason to resign?

This whole “Do as I say not as I do” behavior is unacceptable.

He threatens the lives of the public by getting drunk and driving, but you all defend him, say he made an honest mistake, and think he’s a great person who should keep his job.

Any of the illegal things I mentioned are cases for removing him. An honorable person would step down, but you know he’s not honorable (see ABC12 story).

The video is proof-positive that his written and spoken apologies were just a self-serving effort to save his own neck. In other words, he not put the public at great risk by driving that day, he is also a liar. He is an embarrassment, not only to the Midland community but to all duty-bound honorable law enforcement officers everywhere.
Bless Terry Camp! Without him, hardly anyone would know about this.

Law enforcement certainly wasn’t forthcoming about it.

Here’s what the Midland County sheriff bought his kids for Christmas this year:

When has an officer ever apologized profusely when arresting someone for drunk driving? Oh, that’s right, only when it’s someone from law enforcement. They don’t work for you, and anyone who tells you they are is lying. There’s a double standard that even the blind can see.
