the idea of single-payer catastrophic-only coverage.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

We have a winner.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

It's an idea that will never get serious consideration from people on either side of the aisle. Not enough government intervention for the left, and the right would decry it as a government take-over of healthcare.

But it is an idea that makes sense given that we require hospitals to treat catastrophic injuries regardless of ability to pay.

I’m so upbeat that before this ruling is overturned - there’s a lot of passionate debate again about healthcare, and who wants to do what big insurance pays them to do - including getting rid of pre-existing condition full and fair coverage protection.

Reminding voters who is on the side of big insurance, and who is on the side of the sick and those who will become sick - is key to the democrats taking back the senate and the white house. Voters number one concern is their healthcare. And the 20 million persons this judge has just scared won’t forget this when next they mark ballots.
