98.7 The Breeze: Announcers, Jingles, DJ'S, Morning Show, etc. Discussion
Let's discuss what stuff we want to hear besides just song requests.
I'll start.
I would love to have a Breakfast Club type morning show, maybe even call it The Breakfast Club.
I for sure want Kevin O'Neill and Chris Edmonds somewhere, whether it's Breakfast Club or middays.
They need to make a catchy JAM Jingle package, i would love something similar in sound to the WNIC "it's Nice" package from the late 90s.

Nope. No live personality. (Harper?!? Seriously?!?)
Very limited use of jingles.
It’s a PPM world, now. I’d do MANY more cold segues.
In fact, I’d hand out cash to have it played in stores.
They need a weather/traffic report every 20 minutes from 5a to 9a. No yuck-yucks in am drive nor pm drive.

My God, why must we always dredge up the same 'ol recycled talent in this market?!!!! Eddie Rogers (WLTI) would be a good fit, but he has a rather lucrative gig at Ford these days. Harper, and a cackling female sidekick? No thanks!

And Eddie Rogers is not recycled,Eddie is in same class as Jim Harper all radio past.By the way Eddie Rogers was a Kenny Rogers look alike and they both love chicken.

Bring Jo-Ann Purtan and Stephen Clark to mornings, then JJ can do mornings at WOMC and boogie Brian midday there.
There's also Bobby and Stacy.... (don't laugh, I like them)
Oh wow and Gene Maxwell, I didn't know he was even still in the business. He would be great!

I'd love to have Chris Morgan come back to secular radio. He's on WMUZ mornings. I love his personality and voice. I was a big fan when he was on 105.1 the Groove.
I'm sure he's happy where he's at but Id love to have him on the breeze.
Sandy Kovach is another great personality. She'd be amazing back on 98.7 FM.
Jeff Jennings was a great voice I remember.

No hosts or shtick, just music
Re: 98.7 The Breeze: Announcers, Jingles, DJ'S, Morning Show, etc. Discussion
John O’Leary(WABX and WCSX)Larry London(WKSG)Johnny Molson(WKSG)Lenny the SnakeMan (WPLT)and Terry Young (WABX) Also we could go with John Tesh,Ryan Seacrest and( I love this one) Delilah ,boy Detroit is in for great radio. But seriously here’s a real idea why not have all women on the air 24/7 in the mornings Karen Savelly and/or Lin Woodison,Trudy Daniels mid-days Jackie Page or K.T. Afternoons maybe a TV Personality/DJ like Denna Centafoni I’m mean I know it’s been done in other markets and it’s not a new idea but let’s face it the station is targeting that prime demographic females 18-54 so why not build on that and have women on the air just an idea heck you would probably attract some of the male demos to I would listen.

I could see the John Tesh show on the breeze
Cars 108 has been playing it for years and seems to work very well in that format.
