My puppy's Halloween costume for Trick or Treating...

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

So, is this one the foster pup?

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Yes. She just underwent her first round of heartworm treatment. Has another in 30 days.

Because of activity restrictions during the heartworm treatment, I have her until it is finished. She will then be spayed and chipped and up for adoption. She is really one of the smartest dogs I have ever worked with. She has been quite easy to train. They have a waiting list of five people so far that want her.

The best that I can figure, she is part rottweiler, part jack russell terrier. I call her a Jackweiler. She was at 36 pounds (malnourished) when I took her in and currently tips the scales at 50lbs.
