New Hamilton, Ontario Radio/TV tower

A new tower for CHCH TV, Yes TV, and 95.3 FM is almost complete NW of Hamilton near Rock Chapel and Grace Christian School. That general area is known as Flamborough.

Both TV stations will continue to broadcast on UHF at 337 meters HAAT or about 1100 feet. 95.3 CING-FM which is known as Energy with be at 287 meters HAAT or a little under 950 feet. Although this is a little less than their current 305 meters, they will increase their height above sea level to 500 meters from their current 455 meters. They will also remain 100 KW ERP.

The longtime tower location in Stoney Creek is expected to come down to make way for Suburban Development.

In July they just started it. Three months later the total height of the tower is now built. Both Yes TV and CHCH-TV now transmit from the new tower with reduced power.
