A few more that should be on the station:

Sophie B. Hawkins - As I Lay Me Down
Richard Marx - Endless Summer Nights
The Jets - Make It Real
Air Supply - Making Love Out Of Nothing At All
The Corrs - Breathless
Mr. Big - To Be With You
The Lovin' Spoonful - Do You Believe In Magic
Michael Bolton - How Can We Be Lovers
Ashford and Simpson - Solid
Culture Club - Time (Clock Of The Heart)
Phil Collins - Everyday

(Below are 2 questionable suggestions, but WNIC played them both in the 2000s, so why can't The Breeze now?)
Manfred Mann - Do Wah Diddy Diddy
The Contours - Do You Love Me

Bring back this classic duet:
Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville - Don't Know Much

And this classic:
King Harvest - Dancing In The Moonlight

And what happened to "We Belong" by Pat Benatar?

________
Sorry for filling the thread with programming suggestions.
The requests thread has too many posts and is way down on another page now, so I don't think Ian is still reading it.

Yeah, I've heard 2 from her so far!

They also added in Prince "When Doves Cry", which is playing about 2-3 times a day . :rolleyes

I have not heard these 2 songs in over a week.
Why?

Elton John - Daniel
Jackson Browne - Load-Out/Stay

EDIT:
Daniel is playing now.

No different than usual it seems.

And why the hell are they playing "Rock Steady" by The Whispers?
🙄🙄

Yes, Why? The Whispers really, To me it’s just the same boring BS radio station that existed after the December 28th Playlist Change.

I'm right on the edge of permanently turning the station off.
One Direction is playing right now.

It may be a bit more work but hey, I have an Amazon Echo and iHeartRadio app on my tv.
I can listen to 98.1 The Breeze in San Francisco and the amazing 94.1 The Sound in Seattle.

It's just really sad when you have to listen to a station on the other side of the country when you have a station with the same format where you live. (At least Entercom thinks they have a Soft AC).
It's also sad that I hear businesses doing the same thing I have to do, like the urgent care I was at last week that had on 98.1 The Breeze, KISQ in SF

They should change their slogan from "playing the songs you missed" to "playing the songs you've never liked and all the overplayed songs on our sister station"
Suits them perfect! No joke.

Lol, oh, they are playing Tainted Love now btw.
Because that totally didn't get worn out by Doug FM 15 years ago or anything...

What will be next,
Rock The Casbah?
more Prince?
Mariah Carey's greatest hits front to back? (Wait they already do that)
Justin Bieber?
even more 80s R&B that didn't even make the top 30?

Tune in asap to find out which retarded song Ian will be adding next! (And then schedule it to play 4 times a day)
:lol

I feel like there should be a rule that any MD that programs a station to it's grave should not be allowed within 10 feet of a computer at another station. (Or in this case, same station different format)

But of course it doesn't help that The Breeze does not even have a PD.
Tim Roberts probably is ignoring the station and letting Ian just do whatever, due to WOMC's ratings falling to pieces.
But this is corporate's fault.
Trying to save money by making one person attempt to oversee 3 different stations. That is a stupid decision.
But what can we do about it? Nothing at all!
Welcome To 2019!

I suppose though I should be thankful that Entercom doesn't do what iFart does: replace PD's with national corporate premium choice playlists for stations they refuse to pay to have anyone program.

What’s sad is that the format won’t last more than two years. They’ll blame a dying format, as opposed to realizing poor execution of a format that can work. It’s starting to feel similar to the crappy changes to 105.1 that were made during the last two years of their AC format.
