Well true. I guess I didn't realize Pitt's had put as much into as he did. 1520am does sound much better then 1230 or even 1370am for that matter. Did EMF recently put the station on the block or has it been for sometime? I had thought maybe at one point Toledo radio LLC would have considered adding Second station to its portfolio. The Cloud wont buy it but it would actually make a decent 2nd signal For The Ticket. The current format is just beyond awful.

Actually my interest in radio sort of sparked from this, seeing the towers in Bedford twp and the building that had the WVOI call letters on it.

What was the reason for abandoning the site in Temperance mi?

Finally heard a Legal ID on 1520, wonder if the FCC got on them? I heard at about :57 after, " WPAY Rossford/Toledo 1520am and 92.1fm"

I am surprised that EMF doesn't have their own signal in Detroit, other than an HD subcarrier. Sell the 1520 Perrysburg/Rossford/Toledo and get a big damn stick, like Superstation 910 or snag-up the slew of defeated sports stations in the Detroit market. They had 15 freaking signals in NW Ohio, bu couldn't do jack in Detroit?

Well.. EMF would want an FM for K-Love. There not going to want to fool with an AM station in a major Market. I do think, they have there eye on the market, Probably waiting for the right moment. For example, I think they could try to acquire WGPR from The Masons or possibly 102.7 from Radio one. The only other remote possibility I could see would be Beasley sells 105.1 but that seems unlikely.

Well sure, I know there was talk of a deal, with EMF buying 90.9fm , then WDTR. The deal fell through for some reason or another. They could hypothetically acquire 101.9fm but I don't see it happening.
