What's Going On With FOX32?

Post by TheForce » Thu Nov 16, 2017 1:07 pm

I was channel surfing and the TV listings said the People's Court was on Fox 32 (Charter Channel 3) but when I tuned in it's showing Gunsmoke and has a MeTv logo on the screen.

From the Fox website:
"Broadcast channel 32 is currently off the air due to transmission line issues. We are working to resolve this issue. You can still watch Fox 32 via our live stream & the NMI news app. "

Maybe they are using MeTv as a temporary fill.
Gunsmoke is beter than Peoples Court anyhow.

Why isn't MeTV on Charter? Would rather have that than the crappy looking picture on COZI TV.

In the Traverse City area it is 0n Charter 192. Check the MeTv web site for your area. Very good channel.

MeTV is also on 192 in Big Rapids / Reed City.

On another subject, has anyone (besides me) noticed that on Good Morning America, the time and temperature in the lower right of the screen is about 3 minutes off (fast) on 29&8, compared to WZZM?

I hadn't noticed since Good Morning America and the other morning shows have become unwatchable. All you see is Trump, Russia, Trump, Russia. No more news at all, just manufactured stories.

My Charter in Grayling doesn't have 192. I see 191 then skips to 196.

I checked the Grayling Charter lineup. Looks like you won't be watching "Leave it to Beaver" unless you get a rooftop antenna or call Charter and plead for them to carry it.

32 is back on with their 10 pm news, at least on Charter in Reed City. Wouldn't want to miss Michigan or State tomorrow.

Even though 32 is/was off, FOX programming is still available on 9.2 with MeTV on 9.3. Not sure if MeTV is on 45 or 10 way up north.

TV 9&10 has done a HORRIBLE job making its viewers aware of alternate options.

Radio's downfall has been under-investing in its core competency and becoming distracted by delusions of grandeur by thinking development of a half-assed national digital strategy will somehow put it on par with the Facebooks and Googles of the world.

Both 9&10 and 7&4 are guilty of that, in my opinion... DTV is northing but a joke and money scheme anyway...

You're right. More cable and sat viewers = ability to negotiate higher retransmission fees.
