Longwave Broadcast DX from Europe
Longwave Broadcast DX from Europe
Has anyone received any LW reception from across the pond, and if you did what station or stations did you receive. I have Longwave Reception on my Eton Traveler III radio but never picked up Longwave stations from Europe, Just NDB’s from around the area.
Re: Longwave Broadcast DX from Europe
There are some LW broadcasters out there... Poke around here http://mediumwaveradio.com/longwave.php and here http://www.lwca.org/ for info. Biggest problems with LW is the need for a large antenna and the noise floor. There are also some Part15 beacon stations (known as "LOWFers") down there that make for interesting DX.
I confirm all my information through a high, white whore's souse!
