106.7 what format have you not tried?
106.7 what format have you not tried?
Here’s another one for you ,let’s see how many formats 106.7 still has at its disposal now in this game let’s not name something they already did like in the last 15 years so no Country,Variety Hits and Classic Rock .So here’s my suggestions Classic Soul from the 60’s and 70’s and Traditional Oldies ‘55-‘74 with heavy emphasis on 60’s.What do you think? Now I Know this is a long shot but maybe someone at IHeart will see this .

I would get into the older demo warz going on right now and do an all 70's format so much great music from 1969 to 1980.
check out some of the musicradio WLS airchecks on youtube, do that hot jingle and bring back the reverb on the jocks.
Super 70's....Wheelz 106 7......sounds nice

I don't think they've tried Spanish Language, (not that I think they will.)

Maybe it's time someone tried sports again?
If done right, maybe it won't turn into the 105.1 mess.

How about a format that plays nothing but German music BACKWARDS. Gotta think outside the box to win...

Since radio is dying a slow death as the populations grows older and most millennial's and younger don't listen, I say iheart should silence it.

I heard an Italian language music program on 95.9 out of Windsor earlier this morning (Sunday morning).
Perhaps 106.7 could flip to full-time Italian language programming?
All Bababooey songs, all the time, would also be a great choice!

Re: 106.7 what format have you not tried?
Well, let's look at something. Usually, certain stations change formats to either be a flanker or to unseat the king. So it's usually a format that's already in the market. And it's a rarity that those stations win. Rock? Gotta beat at LEAST WRIF. Alternative flavor? Gotta beat 89x. CHR? Gotta top 955. Classic rock? Gotta beat CSX. Urban? 97.9. Country? 99.5. See the pattern? It's generally a losing proposition. Usually just enough to take shares from one station to prop up another. So what is really out there that's gonna be innovative, will sell and will get listeners? What's out there?

Variety Hits would be the best option to knock down womc and wcsx, and compete with the breeze
