Status of WSRT?

Post by Nelson » Mon Feb 20, 2017 10:37 am

Just curious, does anyone know what the status is of 106.7 WSRT now that they are owned by Baraga Broadcasting? The last I heard, they were going to switch to Catholic programming "sometime in January of 2017" according to the latest press release I found. Today, Feb. 20th, they still have ESPN programming.

I just looked at the FCC site and it says that Northern still owns WSRT. No mention of even an application to transfer to anyone else.

Sorry, I keep forgetting to notice when the above post was made.

Frontier Airlines SUCKS! They're a bunch of thieves. Don't fly with them!

As good a place to start as any with the "Buzzboard Reboot" -

I believe the sale to Baraga was contingent on the close of the sale of the other stations from Northern to Blarney Stone, which of course fell through since the Coynes didn't have the "coin" to follow thru (I am funny)
