Northern Michigan FM For Sale

Post by sellingMIradio » Tue Mar 07, 2017 10:03 am

I have the perfect opportunity for a broadcaster who wants to live and work in the resort country of Michigan.

I am selling a profitable, cash-flowing FM with the potential to include real estate in Northern Michigan. I will consider current and first time owners, subject to a financial review.

Serious inquiries may request further information at northernFMsale@gmail.com

Who knows, who knows.
WSRT 106.7 - You may have reached "The Peak", but you still struggle to climb the mountain of success.

The vague wording suggests this mystery station could be anywhere north of a line from Muskegon to Bay City, including the UP

My guesses would be either 95.3 in the Straits, 106.7 Gaylord or 106.3 Onaway. Wouldn't shock me if it's 101.5 Gaylord, either.
Radio station web sites that do not offer music logs or at least a "songs recently played" list are stupid.

WBMI in West Branch? WYPV Mackinaw City?

WQON-FM Grayling should be on the short list, too.

If Baraga's deal to acquire 106.7 fell through, and assuming Blarney Stone actually has the financial wherewithal to close on the deal (that is a BIG "if"), I can see a scenario where they decide to keep 106.7 and unload 100.3 instead.

It's TX is over 25 miles from the Straits....it's a nice idea for a positioner and kind of wishful thinking, but not all that accurate.

Anyway, I hope you are right.....I would like to see someone with enough capital and experience to take that over and make something viable out of it. It's really just canned satellite programming you could get in any of hundreds of streamed sources, without all the spots.
The box that many broadcasters won’t look outside of was made in 1969 and hasn’t changed significantly since.
