Let's hope not.

Allen somehow got his lame "syndicated" 2006-2014 retreads of "Comics Unleashed" inserted as filler after Colbert when the CBS Late Late Show w/Corbet crumbled under its own overpriced weight. (The aquarium was the CU star, BTW).

The Colbert-produced replacement, "@fter midnight", may have lowered the bar even further for the time-slot, assuming that's even possible. However, it doesn't mean the whole company should be punished for such idiocy.

Paramount is more than 'another company'.

Hopefully Allen fails in the quest to spread his distinct flavour of mediocrity globally by taking over Paramount.

I hope that the Redstone family rejects the deal Byron I'm A Cheapskate Allen will just air his cheap syndication on CBS afternoons. If he buys Paramount just say no to Byron Allen.

It's a reference to Byron Allen's terrible segues on Comics Unleashed.

A segue that both doesn’t make sense and is unfunny at the same time? Must be Byron Allen!

Byron is dumb money. He puts a bid in for anything that moves. However, he’s also shown that his bids are frequently bottom of the barrel offers. Like ABC, I doubt this bid for CBS/Paramount will go anywhere.
