Could 96.1 flip from sports?
Could 96.1 flip from sports?
With no sports until (minimum) Memorial Day, is there a chance 96.1 (and other sports stations nationwide) flip from sports to talk or even a music-based format?

I don't see it with 96.1; it would take time to grow an audience with a flip and before that could happen, its likely we'll be in football season. At least I hope there's a football season this year.

Agreed. Won't happen. 96.1's ratings are at their best level in a long time. For that signal, and given the fact 96.1 overindexes significantly in Men 25-54, low 2's in the beauty pageant 6+ race is good. Remember, spoken word listeners are much more likely to stay tuned through commercial breaks.
101.3 is the station that needs an overhaul. iHeart just throws a big pile of shit at the wall and sees what sticks, I guess. They have enough successful stations in the cluster that I guess they've given up putting forth any sort of effort with 101.3.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

TAWMEE leaving the Pats and where he will go should keep sports talk running on all cylinders right up to the start of the NFL season. Each hour of airtime will be wicked pissa...
