That’s 94.7 entire playlist how did you get that, Did you break into the office of the music director. But seriously all Corporate Radio has the same playlist, Stream onto other Beasley Classic Rock Stations and Damn if they don’t sound the same, Or go to Isuck radio and all their stations sound the same and the worst of them all Entercom.

While these songs are burnt to a crisp, and it's a great idea to play deeper album cuts, it'll never happen, and I'll tell you why. To the average listener, these are recognizable songs. They want songs they know. No PD or MD worth his/her weight in you-know-what is going to program a bunch of B-sides, obscure album cuts, and stiffs just to satisfy a bunch of music snobs. I agree..."I Could Be Good For You by 707, the Kings, Kingbees, The Korgis, and others are great. I played them when they were new, but average listeners want songs they recognize. I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing, but in today's world...that's the way it is. It's not 1974 anymore, sadly.

Last evening about 9:30, I had 104.3 on while I was working on my recording studio and had listened until about 1AM, Now after midnight 104.3 repeated 5 songs that were played between 9:30 and midnight and the question is why are they rotating songs that tight especially for a Classic Hits Station, And WOMC has a large library of music there is no reason for this repetitive nonsense.

BINGO. Son of a BITCH I'm so over Pink Floyd I could cry. Except for maybe "Young Lust". But for every one time I hear that one, I can't change the station fast enough when I hear that helicopter fading up.

That's why I appreciate that an iHeart(!) station is attempting to try something different. Mixing in a few deep cuts on a Saturday. Nothing too crazy.

Let's see what happens when the numbers start coming in.
