The Big Bang Theory

Post by Realist » Thu May 16, 2019 9:12 pm

IMO - the series finale was perfect. Wrapped up damn near everything. Sheldon finally became humble with his friends and experienced humility when accepting the Nobel Prize. We finally saw Howard and Bernadette’s kids. Raj with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Leonard and Penny expecting. And I figured that the elevator would finally get fixed, which it did!

It brought a lump to my throat. Awesome way to end the show...

That is and was the dumbest TV show next To Seinfeld in American television history, What a waste of broadcast air time, Thank God it’s over.

I was very satisfied with the ending. Happy the elevator was finally fixed. The only thing I wish we found out was Penny's last name before she married Leonard. And you are right, first time seeing the Wolowitz kids. Amy's new look is pretty much her real life look and looked hot. I remember watching her on Blossom! Penny's pregnancy seemed pretty inevitable.

I always wanted to know Penny's last name too, but I kind of had the feeling that they would never reveal it. We still have Young Sheldon, (whose season ended with memorable scene.)

Dumb, and patronizing the Dunning-Kruger crew all at the same time.

Loved the show and the final episode! Maybe I'm overthinking this but my only disappointment was that Raj never found love. He's such a hopeless romantic and even though he was with Buffy, she made it clear to him that they weren't on a date. Glad Raj was able to help Amy find her new look, even though Sheldon hated the change at first.

The show really did suck, Jim Parsons is an ass.

The show was good when it was about Physics, Engineering, and Biology. When the cast was scared of cancellation the first few years, they held it together. I preferred it when Jim Parsons was not so politically involved. And it affected his performance as he stopped any pretense of acting like his original character. He got so carried away with his success that he stopped being his eccentric and Autistic and compulsive character. The rest of the cast seemed pretty well grounded, especially Kaley Cuoco. She has the best sense of humor, and showed the most respect for the classic actors who appeared on the show, like Leonard Nimoy and Bob Newhart, and James Garner on Eight Simple Rules. In later years, they just became Friends II, and jumped the shark like Fonzie.

It started out completely average, got pretty decent then went downhill pretty hard. This last season was brutal.
